Privacy Policy

The short version

Tonebed is designed to keep your information on your own device. We don't require an account, we don't run ads, and we don't use analytics or tracking inside the app. Your settings and your check-in history stay on your phone.

What we collect

Nothing personal, and nothing that leaves your device by default. Your sound settings (tinnitus frequency, mixing level, noise type, band width, sleep-timer length, daily goal) are stored locally on your device. Your check-ins and session history are stored locally in an on-device database, and are used only to show you your own trends and streaks inside the app. They are not uploaded to us or anyone else.

We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, microphone input, or any advertising identifiers. We have no servers that receive your personal data.

Notifications

If you turn on check-in reminders, Tonebed schedules them locally on your device. No reminder content or schedule is sent to us.

Purchases

Tonebed's core sound masking is free. Some extras can be unlocked with a one-time purchase. Purchases are processed by Google Play, not by us — we never see or store your payment details. To recognize your purchase across reinstalls, we use a purchase-management service (RevenueCat), which receives a randomly generated, anonymous purchase identifier plus limited device and purchase information needed to validate the unlock. We do not create accounts and do not link purchases to your identity. See the Google Play privacy policy and the RevenueCat privacy policy.

Children

Tonebed is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Data sharing and sale

We do not sell your data, and there is no personal data for us to share. We have no advertising or analytics partners inside the app.

Your control over your data

Because everything is stored on your device, you can remove all of it at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's data in your device settings.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles data, we'll update this policy and its effective date before the change ships.
